Big no for treble heads, big huge yes for those who crave chill fatigue free listening sessions. Treble extension and detail is good but loses some air in the top end resulting in a more mellow, less energetic treble. Best version of this track IMO) are mad mad fun on these thanks to how the cymbals and bass sound. of Fleetwood Mac’s Dreams (Search in YouTube, published by Rhino. Just like the bass, Cymbal hits have the perfect decay in these cans. Will be less organic/natural) then 99 classics are not for you. Thus if you are into energetic upper mids and leaner lower mids (will sound perceptively cleaner but tonality might suffer. I actively look for this type of smoothness in iems and headphones while many find this sort of tuning boring and muffled. Midrange remains fairly neutral and natural (very slight coloration in the lower mids but not as much as the senn HD599, negligible) and the smoothness is the upper mids and presence region can be compared to Sony IER M7/M9. The bass decay & rumble is just perfect and that's the ultimate recipe of fun here. 99 classic is the master of bass under 500 usd. Very slightly V shaped with superb natural timbre. These are kinda the full sized version of final audio e4000 and distant cousins of Sennheiser HD650. They sound good out of the box but if you are coming from highly technical bright sounding headphones these will sound a bit too dark and mellow at first. I'd probably opt for closed back cans if you really want a visceral low end.It will be wrong to pass any verdict without trying them out for at least 3 or 4 days. Sony could also work, but I haven't heard any of their stuff. If you like the treble a bit more tame, they're probably not a good fit. Also, if you like your treble a little hot and spicy, Beyerdynamic might be a good choice. They come with 2 sets of different size pads, and most people prefer the smaller pads. Should you choose these, purchase the 99 Noir from Massdrop. If you listen to a lot of rock and metal, the 99s simply can't be beat. All 3 have wooden cups, which imo makes them sound more organic. Whereas the 99s and tr-x00 have a warmer tonality. The Nightowl has the largest Soundstage (out of your head experience) of the 3, but it's overall tonality is pretty dark. If you want more of an L shaped sound signature (bass is a bit elevated, neither the mids or treble are recessed), I'd opt for the Audioquest Nightowl. If you like more of a V shaped sound signature where the mids are somewhat recessed, and both the bass and treble are elevated, I'd choose the tr-x00. What genres do you listen to? My top choices would be the 99 Classics, where the mids are slightly forward, and the treble is slightly rolled off. If you could describe what you prefer sound wise in all other areas except the bass, it would bring you one step closer to choosing the right headphones. More importantly, the packaging for this particular safe has a padlock icon and the word security, which is an implied representation that it is in fact secure, at least to the unsophisticated buyer. It appears to be made of strong materials, it has a digital keypad to lock it, and it is called a safe. The problem is that the consumer sees an 86-pound container and it looks to be secure. SentrySafe has a good reference guide that talks about this. There are very few containers that are rated for both burglary and fire. Burglarly safes are designed to prevent break-ins through the use of force or covert attacks, rather than compromise from fire, high temperatures, water, and dropping the container up to thirty feet (which could occur during a fire if the safe fell through a floor). There is a fundamental difference between fire and burglary-rated safes which I would imagine most consumers do not fully understand. It’s a fire safe meant to protect valuables and documents in the event of a fire. To be fair, the SentrySafe is not meant to thwart burglars. SentrySafe is one the most recognized brands for protecting contents from fire and are sold at major office supply and hardware stores. These safes are manufactured in Rochester, N.Y. Their arrival prompts him to postpone the last meal (to Mario's despair) and when Hal asks how they intend to prove them innocent, Swag obliges. Their last attempt during Mario and Chris' last meal- which excites Mario very much- is to pass themselves as professional lawyers out to prove the guilty duo's innocence. None of Swagmaster and Melony's attempts to free their friends work, and ends with the former bearing the worst of things. The young deity angrily bonks him with a baseball bat and forces him to accept two conditions: that he will help free Mario as well, and that he will properly read her manga, something he reluctantly accepts. With Karen refusing to cooperate, Swag orders Melony to help him free Chris. The only "upside", according to Hal, is that they get to choose their own execution, something Mario isn't too bothered by in stark contrast to a near-traumatized Chris. Swag and Melony go to bail Chris (who is lamenting his predicament) and Mario (who is playing a harmonica to the "beat" Chris makes by banging his head against the wall), but they learn to their horror from Karen, the prison's clerk- and an equally horrified Mario and Chris from Hal Monitor- that them "attacking" the president is a one-way ticket to the death row, so they won't be leaving any time soon. right into Barack Obama, alerting security into arresting them. Just as the two are about to come to blows, Chris drags Swagmaster away, and Melony thanks Mario with a pat on the head. Disgusted by this low blow, Mario quickly jumps to Melony's defense, and breaks Swagmaster's haughty, bullying ego with two creative insults. Swagmaster discovers Melony's manga and does not like it, making fun of Melony's drawings for being so poor quality which breaks her heart and discouragers her. The correct temperature and humidity settings for a chicken egg incubator depend on the type of incubator the keeper uses. The eggs also require proper humidity: around 60 percent for the duration of incubation then 75 percent when the hatch approaches. When they creep above that level, the embryos could die from overheating, or the chicks could struggle to emerge from the egg membranes. When temps regularly dip below that ideal, the hatch could be delayed. Hatching eggs in an incubator mimics this by holding a steady temperature as close to 100.5 degrees as possible for the entire 21 days. Her body and the ground work together to ensure those eggs don’t get too dry. A mother hen’s body temperature ranges from 105 to 106 degrees, translating to a toasty 100 to 101 degrees for the clutch she’s sitting on. Best Incubator for Beginners: HBLife Fully Automatic Incubatorįor chicken keepers who want to hatch a dozen eggs, a small, fully automatic digital incubator is the best egg incubator choice. It’s optimized to work most efficiently when the incubator is full, so grossly underfilling the device-like hatching half a dozen eggs in an incubator designed for 40-may depress its performance. An incubator that’s too big has downsides, too. This keeps the incubator from struggling to keep those eggs at a steady temperature-and prevents the worst outcome of eggs failing to hatch or embryos dying from overheating.Īn incubator that’s too small won’t accommodate the number of eggs the keeper hopes to incubate. It should never be operated in direct sunlight or drafty places. It’s best if the room that houses the incubator is climate-controlled with minimal variation in temperature over the incubation period. An incubator requires a stable surface with steady access to electricity. One of the first considerations when choosing the best egg incubator is size. The best egg incubator for the job holds the right number of eggs and maintains the ideal temperature and humidity for egg incubation. Fortunately, chicken egg incubators meet the needs of keepers interested in large-scale egg hatching, as well as keepers who simply prefer artificial egg incubation. Many chicken keepers continue to rely on mother hens to do this work, but that’s not always possible. In the wild-and in flocks where mother hens hatch and brood chicks-clutches of two to twelve eggs keep warm and moist under a hen until they pip. These birds are beloved by humans, who have kept them as domestic livestock for about ten thousand years. There are hundreds of species of chickens scratching around the planet today, but they all belong to one single species: Gallus gallus. Fresh-from-the-nest eggs are one of the major perks of chicken keeping-but cultivating a flock comes with many decisions. Thanks to chicken domestication, acquiring that perfectly jammy boiled egg to elevate a steaming bowl of ramen no longer means stalking wild nests. Some of those australopithecine ancestors scaled trees for a particularly nutritious prize: eggs lifted right out of birds’ nests. Their fossilized limbs and teeth make it clear they ate mostly plants-with a bit of scavenged meat on the side. The earliest hominid ancestors lived about 4 million years ago. The word “gaslighting” was selected as Merriam Webster’s word of the year for 2022. More recently the term “gaslighting” comes up in conversations around various forms of subtle trauma and manipulation. Though psychologists and other mental health professionals are now studying and talking about the term in academic and clinical settings, researchers have acknowledged that the word itself comes from the 1938 play titled Gas Light, which in 1944 was made into the British film Gaslight, about a husband who attempts to make his wife go crazy by insisting she is hallucinating and imagining things. “Gaslighting is finally getting the much-needed attention that it deserves in terms of awareness as a legitimate form of abuse that can lead to severe mental health concerns.” And mental health experts say it’s a psychological phenomenon that can have serious emotional implications and even destroy relationships.Īwareness of what it is and when it’s happening is really important, says Barbara Shabazz, PsyD, a Virginia Beach, Virginia–based clinical psychologist and owner of Intentional Activities, a motivational counseling private practice. The Ford government’s carving up of the Greenbelt has given off a foul odour from the get go, and the multibillion-dollar stink isn’t going away. The Auditor-General has laid bare a legal and ethical sewer. Lysyk found that 7,000 of the 9,400 added acres were already protected. The government wants to build 1.5 million new homes, but the auditor says it can hit that target – and even planned to – “without the need to build on the Greenbelt.” In any case, “most of the land removed from the Greenbelt may not be ready for housing development in time to meet government goals.”Īs for the government’s claim that it’s adding more land to the Greenbelt than it’s removing? Ms. Which is true, and beside the point: “According to the Ford government’s Housing Affordability Task Force, the Housing Ministry, and the Chief Planners of the three affected regions, the removal of Greenbelt lands was not needed to meet the government’s housing goals,” the Auditor-General wrote. Ford devoted his news conference to talking about how Ontario urgently needs housing, housing and more housing. But to get what it wanted in the Greenbelt, the Ford government simply bypassed all that. The other recommendations mostly have to do with modifications to internal procedures. Which sounds like something until you realize that the only important recommendation is the one the government rejects – namely that it must “re-evaluate the 2022 decision to change the Greenbelt boundaries.” Ford accepted 14 of the Auditor-General’s 15 recommendations. The government is open and responsive to criticism, welcomes new ideas and always strives to do better. Would the land removed from the Greenbelt by a dirty process be restored? If you are a treestand hunter only, I don’t think it is necessary. However, I still wasn’t sold on dropping $100+ on a quiver…it just didn’t seem necessary. If I couldn’t shoot well with my quiver, I was in trouble. All of a sudden my quiver was more than an arrow “transportation” device, and it was now a critical piece of my bow setup. It wasn’t until I tried spot & stalk hunting, that I realized I did need a quiver on my bow, and I did need to shoot with it on. When I first heard about the TightSpot, I literally laughed at the price, just as some of you may be doing right now.Īfter all, what can a $130 quiver do that my $30 quiver can’t? I certainly didn’t need to spend $130 to hold my arrows until I got to my treestand, because once there, I was just going to remove my quiver from my bow anyway. I'll sadly probably end up using it over my expensive T3.It isn’t often that I start a review with something negative, especially on such a great product such as the TightSpot, but let me get this out of the way… There is only one downside to this product, and it is the price.Īt $130, the TightSpot isn’t cheap, but price aside – everything else about this quiver is perfect. You get a top notch piece of gear for a third the price or less. Most economical quiver on the market imo. Im not sure is that is a result of user error trying to tighten while cocked or if it's just what happens when you use plastic. The only issues Ive heard about are some guys manage to crack the mount so it won't tighten. The quality is top of the line and the price keeps dropping. Overall I would say the head loc by G5 is the best quiver on the market for the money. Tho I can tweak that with a little trimming of the aluminum mount. The %5 also sits tighter to the bow than my T3. I also don't like that there is only 1 point of contact on the arrow shaft and foam in the hood instead of the g5 which has nothing to contact blades and holds the shaft in 2 places. The mount is metal on metal so you have to be careful. I bought a T3 for my zxt and like it a lot less despite the fact it was more expensive. When I bought mine they were 80$$ price dropped a lot.Īs far as the mount goesIi like it a lot. I love that they give you an extra tree peg to mount on the tree. I found the best way to get arrows in and out is to slide them in the rubber so the head is out of the hood before you take the arrow out of the holders. i like that the whole quiver slides on the carbon rods and is adjustable up and down so you can customise to fit your bow perfectly. Montecs and hellrazors fit great but some larger diameter heads will take the right positioning. I used one all of last season and love it. I think the Head Loc's mounting system is so good I wish other people would copy their style. So, is the G5 Head Loc the best quiver mounting system there is and if not, what do you think is the best? I believed him because it was nearly impossible to get off when it wasn't on a bow. The guy at the shop said it is much easier when it's on a bow. I tried a Alpine Soft-Loc quiver in the store but couldn't get it apart. And although it's not super hard to mount in the dark the G5 is very easy to mount, even in the dark. If you loosen or tighten it it will either be too loose or too tight. The Tightspot quiver has a similar lever locking mount but it can be loosened or tightened which I actually don't like. It is just a lever that goes up and down. One of the things I really like about the G5 over the other quivers I've seen is the mounting bracket. If the G5 could do this I would have bought it since a new Tightspot is $130 and a new G5 can be bought for around $40. One is that Ramcats don't fit in the G5 and two is that the G5 won't hold the thin VAPS that I shoot. I was was almost going to buy the G5 Head Loc quiver but I have two issues. I just bought a used Tightspot to replace my lost used Tightspot. I also have to add that for the first time ever TWC was warranted in giving Boston all of the coverage they did this season. The weather service said expected snow totals from the storm, which is forecast to wind up Wednesday, ranged from more than 2 feet (1 meter) in higher elevations in New York, New Hampshire and. Let's hope that next year that bulls-eye is us, but personally I would prefer it over a longer stretch of time similar to 1995-96. West Hartford has 6 inches, Glastonbury, Middletown and Manchester have 5 and Bristol has 6. As jealous as I was, it was actually a remarkable and truly a once in a lifetime thing to see, considering that they bull's-eyed in a five week period on every storm that hit the Northeast. Some towns and cities across Connecticut saw more than a foot of snow during the 2021 Noreaster. Apart from a few cold blasts from the polar vortex, overall winter conditions in Connecticut were abnormally mild and less conducive to snowfall. Boston's seasonal snowfall average is 41.3 inches per year, which means they are almost 6 feet above their seasonal average, disgusting and yet remarkable. Not just because 85% of their snow fell in a five week period, but because they received substantially more snow than every city in close proximity to the north, the west, and south of them.Ĭities like Portland Maine, Burlington Vermont, Albany New York, Manchester New Hampshire, and Hartford Connecticut all receive on average more snow than Boston in a typical season.
